The district police, hitherto part of Murshidabad district, is now being completely revamped with augmentation of manpower and qualitative improvement of their professional skills with avowed aim of providing the citizens of Murshidabad a proactive police force capable of fighting crime, managing law and order and giving seamless connectivity through better traffic management. I seek the sage counsel of all the stake holders and the citizens of Murshidabad district to give us constructive suggestions to enable us to serve and protect.
